Ted has over 15 years experience designing and making furniture, as a result a chat with him will probably open up a world of ideas for your perfect piece of custom made heirloom quality furniture. Depending on the project this can happen in your home, at our studio or over the phone.
DESIGN
Following the initial talk, Ted will work up the design creating a project outline that helps you to understand his vision for your new piece of furniture. At this stage Ted will also prepare a quote and will ask for a 50% deposit.
MAKE
This is the most exciting stage, it all starts with Ted finding the perfect bit of wood! During the making stage Ted and his team will develop the design at the bench, this is a unique way of working that ensures every detail is perfectly executed.
DELIVER
Once your furniture is finished and everything meets Ted’s exacting standards we will be in touch to arrange delivery. We will also ask for the remaining balance at this stage. Ted will whenever possible deliver and install the furniture in person. On delivery day Ted will explain the design and timber choices to you and let you know how best to look after the beautiful new addition to your home.
